Amazing excitement was given to the supporters in Sunday's individual FIS World Cup competition in Zakopane. The competition at Wielka Krokiew was dominated by the Poles. The winner was Kamil Stoch who was 5.1 points ahead of Austrian Stefan Kraft and third David Kubacki. The good eighth place was taken by Piotr Żyła.

In Saturday's FIS World Cup team competition at the Stanisław Marusarz Hill in Zakopane, the German team took the unquestionable victory. The team led by the former coach of Polish team, Stefan Horngacher, won by 40 points more than the second team from Norway. The Slovenians stood on the lowest step of the podium. The Poles finished in fifth place.

Dawid Kubacki turned out to be unrivalled in the qualification for Sunday's individual competition at the Stanisław Marusarz Hill in Zakopane. The leader of the Polish team is not slowing down and is confidently heading for the ninth podium in a row in the World Cup competitions. Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi, second today, lost 6.9 points to the Pole and Austrian Stefan Kraft, third, lost 8 points. Kamil Stoch performed very well, as he achieved the fifth result in the qualification.

FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in Zakopane has been inaugurated by the press conference with Polish ski jumping team which took place in Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz Theatre in Zakopane. The best polish athletes – Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, Piotr Żyła, the coaches of team A - Michal Doležal and Grzegorz Sobczyk, as well as the president of the Polish Ski Federation - Apoloniusz Tajner, and the director-coordinator of ski jumping and Nordic combined at the Polish Ski Federation – Adam Małysz, participated in the meeting with the journalists.

Stefan Kraft from Austria won in the individual competition of FIS Ski Jumping World Cup held at Wielka Krokiew Hill in Zakopane. Second place belonged to Robert Johansson whose shape is getting better. On the third step of the podium stood Yukiya Sato from Japan for whom it was the best place in his career. Dawid Kubacki, who was 12th, was the best of Polish ski jumpers.

German team won the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup team competition at Wielka Krokiew Hill in Zakopanem. Karl Geiger, Markus Eisenbichler, David Siegel and Stephan Leyhe was ahead of the Austrian team only by 0.1 point. Polish ski jumpers stood on the third step of the podium

Johann Andre Forfang won the qualification for Sunday’s FIS World Cup individual competition and he won the price of 3000 CHF. His teammate, Robert Johansson, was the second, whereas third place went to Timi Zajc from Slovenia. All Polish ski jumpers qualified for the event.

Dawid Kubacki proved that his shape is getting better and better. He dominated World Cup competitions in Val di Fiemme, Italy. On Saturday, only wonderful Ryoyu Kobayashi won with him, but on Sunday Kubacki was unbeatable. It was his first World Cup win. Kamil Stoch was third, whereas Piotr Żyła – 10th.
